How do you determine the dress size for brides?We take measurements of each bride and select the closest dress size based on the size chart that would fit them best. Please note that all our dresses are made to order, not ready to send, which is why they take some time.

Do you offer plus-size wedding dresses?Yes, we take pride in offering a diverse range of bridal gowns, including plus-size options, to ensure that every bride can find her perfect dress. Our experienced bridal stylists are here to assist you in finding the dress that fits your unique style and size beautifully.

Tell me more about the alteration process.Alterations typically begin about 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. You'll have 2-3 fittings to ensure the perfect fit. The dress will be collected the day before your wedding or at a time that suits you best. We'll provide a white dress cover, and the dress will be steamed for your special day.

Can I book a VIP appointment, and what does it include?Yes, we offer VIP appointments. These appointments are 2 hours long and include Prosecco and refreshments. The cost is £30 for the bride and two guests, with an additional £10 per extra guest.

What happens during a trying-on appointment, and how does the ordering process work?During trying-on appointments, brides have the opportunity to browse our selection with their bridal party and select as many dresses as they'd like to try on. We usually recommend choosing one of each style, especially if you're unsure. Accessories, veils, and shoes are also available to complete the look. If you decide to place an order during the appointment, a 50% deposit is required. The final balance is paid when the dress arrives in-store, typically 6-8 months before the wedding date. The dress is stored here until the fitting process begins, which is usually 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.

Can I book combined bride and bridesmaids appointments?While we prefer these appointments to be 2.5 hours long rather than 3 hours, we can accommodate your request. The availability for combined appointments remains the same as our regular appointments.

How can I book first and second fittings?First and second fittings can be booked by Pretty Panache staff members only. First fittings last 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for necessary adjustments. Second fittings follow the same time frame. Collection appointments are 15 minutes long, and no additional time is needed for them. Ideally, weekday appointments are preferred for fittings, as we like to reserve Saturdays for new brides. However, we can schedule fittings on Saturdays if needed.

Can I bring children to the appointments?We understand that finding the perfect dress can be a family affair. We kindly ask that children under the age of 14 only accompany you if they are being fitted for a dress. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and focused experience for all brides and their bridal parties during their appointments.

What is your policy on deposits and payment plans?To reserve merchandise with a minimum value of £400, a 50% deposit is required. If the total balance isn't received within the specified timeframe, the initial 50% deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation. Payment plans are available for merchandise 'to order,' with the remaining 50% balance paid in up to four installments. All gowns remain the property of Pretty Panache until paid for in full.

How can I reserve merchandise and what is the cancellation policy for reservations?Merchandise available in-store with a minimum value of £400 can be reserved with a 50% deposit. Pretty Panache will hold the reserved merchandise for 28 calendar days. If you cancel the reservation before making additional payments, a full refund of the 50% deposit will be issued. The remaining balance of a reservation must be paid within 28 days of the receipt date, with up to four installments allowed. The agreed end date will be specified on the receipt, and you will be contacted if payments are not met.

What is the care policy for Pretty Panache merchandise?Pretty Panache merchandise is designed for special occasions and not for everyday wear. Any general wear and tear, damage, or color changes resulting from improper care or storage are your responsibility. Please follow the care instructions on the label inside your garment, and if you have any questions, contact us at info@prettypanache.co.uk.

What happens if I don't pick up my merchandise?Merchandise should be picked up within 60 days of your recorded event date, as indicated by Pretty Panache. If you haven't retrieved your paid merchandise within this period, it will be considered abandoned, and your rights to the merchandise will be terminated. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you during this period. If you are unresponsive or unreachable, your merchandise rights will similarly terminate.
